Hello, I am Katrin Wildi. I’d like to introduce myself, explaining why I’m doing what I do with passion and how I got there.
It all began when I was – finally – taught the alphabet at school. From then on, I could hardly be separated from my books anymore. I also liked to write stories. Not even essays on Goethe’s Faust was able to spoil writing for me.
If we didn’t progress fast enough at school, I read English books and thus learned the language quite fast. The same was my strategy for learning Spanish. And after longer stays in California, Peru and Scotland I am able to speak all of these languages fluently.
First, my aim was to become an interpreter, that’s why I graduated in Applied Linguistics, Translation from the ZHAW (Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften) with specialisation in oral translation.
In the meantime, I got attracted by communications. Yet I still use my languages almost every day
With the Sprachatelier Satzstark I am fulfilling my dream to improve texts and at the same time learn a lot from you, the experts of content.
